Question : New user able to send but not able to receive email

Please help. I just setup a new user in AD and Exchange 2007. Everything is normal like other users I setup before, user is able to send out emails. But we people reply to his e-mail address they will get the following error message.

 Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    [email protected]

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown (state 14).

*** I remember we had a user used this e-mail address before, but the account already removed.
I tried to removed and recreated sam's account same problem. Please help.

When you go to the users Exchange Properties, what are the email addresses listed?
What is the address that is listed when they send an email, the address the receiver gets.
Can the user send an email to himself?
