Question : Vista Machine keeps booting to startup repair
I have a laptop that only boots into startup repair no matter what option I choose from the F8 boot menu. It was working fine a few days ago, but was scanned for viruses and removed what was found. The user said it never booted properly after that. I tried to restore from the day it was working properly and the restore was successful, but on boot - same thing. It is a Toshiba Sat U400.
Answer : Vista Machine keeps booting to startup repair
I ended up wiping and reinstalling Windows XP on the laptop. Thank you all for your suggestions.
