Question : Accessing Files Server via WAN Link
Hi Guys
I have a requirement to alllow access to a Windows 2003 SP2 File Server via a WAN Link. The Windows 2003 SP2 File Server is part of a Windows 2003 Domain.
My question is, will the users at the other end of the WAN Link be required to authenticate with the Domain where the File Servers reside prior to be able to access the files on the File Server?
As currently, there is not a Trust Relationship between the two Domains.
I think they won't be able to access the files on the File Servers unless they firstly authenticate with the Domain. However i would like this confirmed.
Regards
