Question : DNS failing test Basic and missing(?) srv records

Another dns mess that I've inherited.  Any help would be much appreciated.  This is a Win2k3 domain.

Answer : DNS failing test Basic and missing(?) srv records

I think it came down to a couple things-primarily that it 1) had been upgraded from W2K, and 2) It came into the 2k3 domain with a single namespace name(not sure if that happened during the upgrade or if it was always that way).

Kind of tough to find.  You have to go into My Computer, System Properties, hit the Change button on the Computer Name tab, and THEN HIT MORE.  That is where you can fix the name, and it appears to be the only place.
