Question : Citrix Receiver with iPod Touch

I am actually using an iPod touch as opposed to an iPhone but I believe that the app is the same. I am just trying to get it working with our Citrix server via our local wireless network to see if this will end up being a viable option for us. I can browse the web so I know there is proper wireless connectivity. I believe I have all of the appropriate settings configured correctly, but when I actually try to connect to the server, it briefly says "Authentication" and then will say "forbidden" with no other explanation.

My best guess is that the problem is related to installing the SSL certificate. I try to install the SSL certificate by going to the web interface of our Citrix server. (located locally on the LAN) but Safari cannot pull up the page for some reason when I try to browse to it so that I have the opportunity to install the SSL certificate as specified in the Receiver instruction guide. It says: "Cannot Open Page Safar cannot open the page because the server cannot be found."

However, If I type in the ip address instead of the DNS name it can load the login to the web interface. I know the DNS resolves properly as I have many other wireless devices that can pull up the page using the DNS name of the page just fine.

I am using a fairly old version of Citrix Presentation Server (before they called it Xenapp Server). I believe it is Presentation Server 4.

I know I threw a lot of disjointed information out there just now, but I wanted to provide as much info as possible. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone needs more information let me know.

Answer : Citrix Receiver with iPod Touch

Well, the only way it will possibly work is by creating a PNA site.  If you go into your Web Interface through the AMC (was it the AMC back in the PS4 days?  It might be in the Citrix Mgmt Console) you have a New Site option under the Web Interface; that should let you create a PNA site.
