Question : Testing Access 2003 in 2007 - buttons worked now they don't WHY?
I am in the process of testing existing Access 2003 versions of my databases within Access 2007 and documenting all issues. Last week I was able to run most of the app with 2007 with little issues. However, today I all of the sudden got an missing .ocx file and now the Ak3 version will open within the Ak7 version but none of the buttons on my main menu form will not activate. I am using vba not macros within the Ak3 version. I need to keep the AK3 version and not convert it up. I will be having a mixed environment, differing between the users.
I download the comctl32.ocx from MS Website and it did not fix the issue.
Can anyone explain why they worked and now they don't?
