Question : Deleting something from side bar - Wordpress / php template

Hi there

My site is: http://www.stunnazine.com

Please look at the left side bar where the "search" option is. It is unnecessary for me to have the word "search" and the blue heading box above the search box. I don't know how to remove it. I've been experimenting but when I remove something that looks like it could be it, my entire page template shifts around. I've attached the php code that controls the side bar, and I was hoping someone could tell me how I can remove just the word "search" as well as the blue heading box. I just want the search box and the button that says "search" underneath it.

Thank you for the additional information.

1. QuickBooks is very sensitive to network drives. For multiple users, I use the Server Manager on the Server and that is a reliable way to ensure connection. At one client, where I am the only accounting person, I gave up trying to maintain a reliable connection without server manager. I think it was their server setup as I do not have this problem at other clients.

2. Server setup: It may be that the network folder has gone inactive after first logon and before QB is launched. In Windows Explorer, look at the network folder before launching QB. Does it have a red X? If so, it may have been temporarily disconnected. Re-connection is automatic but takes a while. This may be where QB is timing out. If this is the cause, there may not be much you can do as the folder disconnection habit is by design.

3. Workaround: If the issue is annoying enough, have the Bookkeeper keep the ledger locally on her computer but require her to back it up (QB Backup Utility) to the network at the end of each day. I do not recommend this for obvious reasons. If point 2 above is the cause, I would be inclined to live with it.

4. Repair: You can try a QB repair. With Windows Explorer find the file reboot.bat in Program Files\Intuit. Find the precise location. Close Windows Explorer, run a command shell, navigate to the above folder and run reboot. This repairs the QB application.
