Question : How do I get rid of the pastel colors in an Excel chart when I switch row/column data?
I have a customer who is creating charts in Excel 2007. When she creates a bar or column chart, initially the colors are bold, RGB-type colors. But when she switches the row/column data, which is what she wants, the colors change to pastel, which she does not want.
I know I can manually change each bar or column color, and I've already tried going into the Office button, Excel Options, Save, and changed the default colors under Colors, but that doesn't help.
I also tried choosing the boldest colors possible from the Chart Styles list, but that doesn't change them from being pastel-hued.
Because this is for a customer who is going to be doing this herself, and she's not extremely Excel-savvy, I'd prefer to not have any VBA.
Are there any other options I'm missing? Thank you in advance!
