Question : Delayed printing from outlook to network printer
My client has 6 xp desktops connecting to a win 2003 file/print server. 2 of them experience delays when printing e-mail from outlook 2007 the delays are from 30 seconds to 2 minutes before the printer dialog box comes up. After the dialog box comes up and you select the printer they will print immediately. 4 of the desktops are not having the problem. All of them print immediately from MS Word so it seems to be related to outlook. All of the desktops are the same model Dell and are all running XP with SP3 installed. Printer is Dell 2230
Answer : Delayed printing from outlook to network printer
Check that ALL of theinstalled printers on that PC are available. Can be caused by having printers installed that the drivers can not talk to.
