Question : Adding 2nd DHCP server
Hi I want to add a 2nd DHCP server to our network. We have 4 buildings and we want 1 building to have its DHCP server in that building hosted by the DC located there. What would the steps be? I want to move the scope from my 1st DHCP server to the 2nd DHCP server. The scope that building is currently using. Thanks
Answer : Adding 2nd DHCP server
Yes, go for that path, add the dhcp on the DC, configure the desired scope and then remove the scope on the main one. Having a centralized dhcp for multiple sites will generate a lot of traffic for the broadcasting.
