Question : Accessing a Sharepoint foundation 2010 site from a pc not connect to the same AD

I have a customer that is running Sharepoint Foundation 2010 for document management and running a support desk. Everytime I use their VPN connection to do remote support I have to remote desktop into the servers if I want to connect to the site. If I try and connect from my PC I get an access denied error even when using the Adminitrator account.

I suppose that Sharepoint application is set-up with classic mode authentication, what type of windows authentication is used, NTLM or Kerberos ?
In case of NTLM, try specifiy entire login name (with domain) in login prompt, e.g. [email protected]

If it not helps, then you are out of luck, authentication should be changed to claim based mode but it means create new Sharepoint application
