Question : Free/Busy Information not available to Outlook 2007 users Exch2007 in coexistense with Exch2003

Hi Experts,

I'm running Exchange 2007 SP2 in coexistence with Exchange 2003 & am in the process of migrating mailboxes. Some of the Outlook 2007 users are unable to view free/busy information when scheduling appointments but Outlook 2003 users are. We do not have any replication issues and AD looks fine

Our platform is below

5 CCR Exchange 2007 SP2 clusters
2 CAS behind a load balancer
5 HUB servers
A few Exchange 2003 servers
2 Exchange 2007 public folder servers

One single forest, and one root domain, one child domain

We do not provide external support, this is only for our internal domain

Mi guess this is related to Autodiscover service, so can anyone provide me with the KB article to simply creating a DNS A record for the Autodiscover server on our domain?

I am aware that a similar post was created long time ago, please only provide me with a few more ideas and the link to create a DNS record for the autodiscover server on my domain

Thank you in advance

Answer : Free/Busy Information not available to Outlook 2007 users Exch2007 in coexistense with Exch2003

1)      Gain access the command Line Interface.

a.       For more information, use the guide titled “Accessing the Command Line Interface in AOS”

2)      Type enable  to enter privileged mode.

3)      Type erase startup-config to erase the startup configuration. The device will take a blank config upon reboot.

4)      Type reload to begin restarting the device.

5)      When prompted to “Save Configuration” answer no

6)      When promoted to “Reboot” answer yes

maybe i  will just cancel my account here and spend the time in google.
