Question : SharePoint 2010 Database Names and Location
I have recently installed SharePoint 2010 at my place of business and found it peculiar that i never had the option to name my databases what i wanted. The attached is what was automatically given. Needless to say, my DBA is not happy about those names on out brand new SQL box. My question is this. If i change the names and location of these databases manually in SQL 2008 Management Studio, will this have a negative effect on the functionality of SharePoint?
