Question : Unable to receive mail using Mail Enable

Version 4
Windows 2008

I'm having an issue receiving mail on a new mail server. Previously I had both email & web on a single box, but I have broken them out.

So I setup MailEnable 4 on the new server, configured IIS, etc. and I cannot get any mail from the outside. I can send fine from webmail however.

I setup GoDaddy with the following:

A-record: mail.feralapps.com 19.204.18.101 (this is mail server)
A-record: feralapps.com 19.204.18.96 (this is website)

MX: mail.feralapps.com 0
MX: mail.feralapps.com 10

Domain in MailEnable is mail.feralapps.com (have also tried just feralapps.com)

Answer : Unable to receive mail using Mail Enable

DId you change your firewall port forwarding, rules regarding SMTP and other settings if the internal mail server IP address changed?

Have you checked your firewall logs to see if it is dropping or even receiving SMTP traffic?

With your previous mail server did you employ another server for mail FILTERING.  If so, is it forwarding the inbound e-mail to the new IP (if different than the old mail server)?

The FQDN used should not matter as long as the A and MX records match up.
