Question : Exchange 2010 Migration: iPhone Not Connecting & Outlook / Entourage Clients not connecting

Hey guys,

Just finished moving everyone over to a brand new Exchange 2010 from a SBS 2003 w/ Exchange 2003. All mailboxes & public folders has been moved properly.

I also purchased a UCC cert for mail.domain.com /  autodiscover.domain.com / mail.domain.local

I'm able to see the OWA at https://mail.domain.com/exchange and can send and receive mails. I'm able to receive mails fine on my Blackberry too.

Now when i go onto my laptop and try to connect to the new exchange box, it keeps failing with "mail server could not be contacted" on Outlook 2003. I tried changing exchange url to https://mail.domain.com/exchange and outlook still doesn't connect.

Also same issue with iPhone & Entourage users, they aren't able to connect to the new exchange server.

All ports are open on the firewall to allow SMTP, WWW, SSL etc to point to the new server.

Can someone advise?

Thanks

Here is one ,NET version

http://nspeex.codeplex.com/

One of the simplest encodings are the Alaw/Mulaw 8bit mono encodings that need only 64kbps of data. Thats the bandwidth needed by simple POTS line and the encodings are used there too. They are optimized for voice and therefore music and other sounds play badly.

As for codecs, its better if you first make an estimate of the kind of bandwidth that you would like to dedicate to a voice channel. There are many codecs out there ranging from those that do heavy compression and others that keep the quality intact and therefore less compression.
