Question : How do I create product breakdowns from a BOM list in excel
Hello all,
I have a worksheet named BOM that has the parent and child list in columns an and b respectively. I then have a list of products I would like to breakdown on a separate sheet called products. Ideally I would like to press a button on this sheet that creates a 3rd sheet, called product breakdown, with the breakdown of each product (preferably indented).
There are 3 types of codes in the BOM:
F = This is the top level code and each product can only have ONE of these.
P = This is a process code. These codes sit under the F code and can have many feeding into the F Code above. You can also have P codes going into P codes.
M = This is the raw material code. This is the last code in the tree and feeds into the P codes and can NOT feed into an F code.
I can attach an example file if people would find this useful?
Many thanks in advance, Colin.

Openwave had sold their browser business to Purple Labs and that the SDKs are no longer supported.
