Question : Shutting down a domain controller for a few weeks?

One of our domaincontrollers has an unstable networkconnection, but I can't physically get there within 3-4 weeks. So I'm planning to shut the server down remotely, but I'm wondering what it will do for its DC-functionality.
We have several other DC's in the same domain on other sites, so the domain itself will keep running. But what if I turn that DC back on after maybe 4 weeks? Will it just replicate the changes of those 4 weeks and run without problems? Or will this cause the server to be "fall out" of the domain? Or any other expected problems?

Answer : Shutting down a domain controller for a few weeks?

Hello,

have you seen this:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/library/domino7-mail-policy/

>>Message Disclaimers tab

In Lotus Notes/Domino 7, you now have the ability to add message disclaimers using policies. Messages can be added by the server or by the client at the end or the beginning of outgoing SMTP messages. One common use of a message disclaimer is to display legal information about the company and/or a particular department in the company. You can enable or disable a message disclaimer from the Domino server or the Notes client. Using a combination of policies and policy settings, you can set different message disclaimers for various groups of executives.
