Question : Change additional 32-bit printer drivers - SBS 2008

Have an SBS 2008 with a network laser printer setup through the server.

Originally when the printer was setup, all workstations on the network were 32-bit XP - so installed XP drivers as additional 32-bit drivers on the server.  All worked fine.

Now all the workstations have been changed to 32-bit Vista.  As the XP drivers won't work with Vista, I need to remove the XP ones and add for Vista.  But in the additional drivers options screen I cannot uncheck the x86 driver.

So I figured I would delete the printer from the server and start from scratch.  But as soon as I've installed the 64-bit drivers for the server, I go to the additional drivers options screen and see that the 32-bit drivers are already installed.

How can I get rid of the existing 32-bit XP drivers that are installed?

Answer : Change additional 32-bit printer drivers - SBS 2008

You can try his. Go into the printer's and on the top select the server properties. From within the server properties select the drivers tab. Select the driver in question and select delete. Now I am not for sure if the delete button will be available since it is in use. You may have to delete the printer and then go back and follow these directions.
