Question : Simple AD Extraction method.

Hi all,

Im looking at extracting some data from our AD to give to someone in CSV format. I seem to be getting to many errors and I think its becuase I want to get all the info from not just one OU but all OU's that contains users.

I have run a couple of csvde scripts but fail to get the exact data that I need. The fields are ...

1. User Name
2. Full Name
3. Email address

Any simple AD programs out there to use or scripts thats already done? Thanks

Answer : Simple AD Extraction method.

If you use the ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers) GUI you can run a simple query asking for all the objects in AD or just users or just groups or what have you.

Once you have the list you can actually select all copy and paste or right click and export to CSV from what I recall.
