Question : Replaced router from Asus to Dlink now cannot remotely connect to SQL server
Hi,
Had an Asus router where all the local addresses were 192.168.0.* and replaced it with a dlink DIR-825 which uses 192.168.1.* and now I cannot connect from my computer to my server's SQL server. I can see it and have tried turning off the firewalls but still I cannot connect. Using MSSQL server 2008 R2 on a 2k3 windows server.

Don't know why you'd want one, just buy a newer model?
Hope this helps anyway.
