Question : What to buy for Student laptop, to be used for Visual Studio .Net development

Hi,
What budget laptop would be best for Visual Studio .NET development?
I understand 2GB of Ram and a 7200rpm HD would help.
Thanks

My current Fujitsu N3530 slowly  tortures me when using Visual Studio.
Its specs are:
Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB)
Memory: 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz SDRAM (1024MBx1)
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 with 128MB Hypermemory
Hard Drive: 80GB Fujitsu HDD (Serial ATA, 5400rpm)
Dimensions: 14.25" x 10.51" x 1.57" (W x H x D)
Weight: 7.92 lbs .

I know you're asking for way of listing avi files in Windows 7 by the codec type?
Did you know you can use VLC to analyse what codecs are in the clip your playing?
Drop your avi on then pause it,. go to tools Codec Information, then Statistics if you need more.
Problem>some will not play on my media centre<<
Install a codec pack,, or ffdshow and a divx player so that windows media center also supports them,

I use Super video converter to recode them to a better divx  anmd or Virtual dub
