Question : Create a WIM image for SCCM 2007

I have a project where I need to deploy many XP Pro SP3 images via SCCM 2007.  I have the installation media for XP Pro SP3 but have no idea how to create the actual image.  I've done research online to do this and I'm confused.  If someone has step-by-step instructions on how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated.
