Question : Remote SMTP Server Returned: 550

Dear,

i have a problem in my email server. sometime i send emails i am getting this error:

Recipient: [SMTP:[email protected]m]
Reason: Remote SMTP Server Returned: 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable

and sometimes i don't get errors but it takes lots of time for the recipient to receive the email.

i have been searching for this error and i found that it might be related to connectivity or black listed ip or it could be something regarding the SMTP configuration of Mailenable (the email client that i have).

Answer : Remote SMTP Server Returned: 550

first make sure that the email address is found in the remote server, try to send the merssage again from public mail server to this specific account, and see if it bounce back or not

if the email deliverd crrectly, check your domain name status in www.mxtoolbox.comif it's  and look for your IP's Status and it is listed in any blacklists
