On a fast network with an average computer it took 4 seconds to load.
That isn't too slow.
However, optimizing the graphics for web use might speed things up a little.
Also, it appears that you have several scripts running on the page to provide function and content. If the person complaining has a slower machine, an older machine, or is using an older browser, scripts will affect them much more than it will someone with up to date software and a speedy system.
See what you can do to break the scripts up so only the necessary parts load and run when needed. This will speed the page up even more.
For most people, this site will run plenty fast. Not OMG fast, just plenty fast.
