Question : Windows Server 2008 RS Remote Desktop Service Long Logoff time
I recently deployed Remote Desktop Services and have setup roaming profiles via to store the profiles on a network share. I am also redirecting documents to a file server. During the testing of the install when a user loggs of the remote desk client session it can take up to 10 minutes for the logoff to complete. I have made numerous changes to GP based upon Technet artices but nothing as resolved the issue. Any insight or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Answer : Windows Server 2008 RS Remote Desktop Service Long Logoff time
The problem was a group policy set to install a help desk agent on all computers in the domain. It was corrupting the profile. I disabled the GP and the logoff times are alomot instantaneous.
