Question : Exchange 2007 iPhone ActiveSync Failing

Hello all,

I had a self-signed certificate that expired.  When I renewed it my mobile devices failed to reestablish connectivity.  I was able to get my Blackberrys working again yesterday by reestablishing Basic Authentication on my EWS in IIS.  But my iPhone users still cannot resync with Exchange (2007).

Here is the output of the test-OutlookWebServices:

It appears that the failure has to do with RPC and the external server URL of "domain1", but I can't figure out how to correct it.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Answer : Exchange 2007 iPhone ActiveSync Failing

one thing you can try is remove SSL from Exchange ActiveSync virtual directory, and make sure there is only basic authentication selected on the Virtual direcory, and then configure iphone without SSL.(stpes on how to configure iPhone without SSL is given in above KB)

Download accessmy lan and check the connectivity, it will give give better idea about issue.

I dont think you need to aapply Sp3 for this, ActiveSync worked even with RTM, removing and re-creating vdir makes sense but first try above mentioned things.
