Question : Hardware Compatibility SATA SSD HDD
My Motherboard:
Abit AW9D-MAX Intel 975X (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
The user guide to my motherboard states that it supports SATA 3.0Gb/s. Nowhere does it say SATA 2, but I read somewhere that SATA 2 was SATA 3.0Gb/s?
Will I be able to plug the following SSD HDD into this motherboard?

If it does plug in, will I get the full benefit of this HDD? As far as I can tell SATA 3.0Gb/s is just another way of saying SATA 2, but I may be wrong... Very confused!
