Question : Configure VLAN tagging on Dell D830 Broadcom 57xx NetXtreme gigabit NIC

Hi,

Can someone clarify how I configure VLAN tagged interfaces on my Dell D830?

Specifically, I would like:

Native (untagged) VLAN of 100
VLAN 50
VLAN 60
VLAN 70


I have the latest Broadcom (not Dell) drivers loaded without issue.  The "Create a VLAN" option in "Advanced Control Suite 2" is greyed out.

Have you looked at the ASDM log while he is trying to do his tasks? Try that and see if it reports any denies or translation problems. That might give you a hint where to go next. If you still have issues please post a sanitized (passwords and public IPs masked out) complete ASA configuration.
