Question : Stored Proceedures

I need help in understanding how to create a stored procedure that will add an item to an inventory list.

I need it to accept the storeName, the itemName, the quantity, and date.

The stores are in one table and the items, quantities, and date are in another table.

If the item already exists, update the quantity; an error should occur if the new item and date are the same. I need a return code to indicate if the update/insert was successful or not.

I also need to know how to execute the SQL code, print the error code, and the inventory list (output parameter), and make use of an output parameter that contains a semi-colon separated list of itemNames and quantities. The value should be structured similar to the following:

2 apples;2 oranges;3 pears;4cherries

Thank-you experts for all of your help!

Answer : Stored Proceedures

That's right. Scope name does not have any common thing with VLANs. DHCP helper on switches redirects DHCP queris to the proper IP address.

The most important thing is to set proper pool address, network mask and default gateway in each scope. If you have common DNS servers for your domain you can set options 006 and 015 in server options and 003 in each scope's scope options.

Then you don't have to configure it in each scope, it will be inherited.
