Question : Mapped drives only open through right-click, scanned system with AV and Malware bytes, nothing detected

Hello,

It seems a virus has added entries  to the auto run portions of our mounting points within hkey_users

C:\WINDOWS\system32\RunDLL32.EXE Shell32.DLL,ShellExec_RunDLL guEfae.ExE

i've been looking for a cleanup tool for this but to no avail, anyone have advise. Been trying to figure out what is the proper path to edit the lines back but i couldn't be certain as other posts online refer to internet explorer exe's, however this is a windows explorer issue.

there is an program called flash disinfector. download and run that. Best solution ever.

i had this problem a lot before and after all these 3 years i still cant find any utility that does it so well.
