Question : Checkpoint Sbox safe@office 500w is limiting the bandwidth speed.

Hi experts,

One of our SBOX's is limiting our ADSL WAN speed, from 8Mb to 2Mb.
The Sbox is relatively new (6 months old), and it's firmware ver. is 8.0.36x which is not old.

While connected via the SBOX, the WAN speeds are not exceeding 2Mbps, and while connecting the modem directly to a laptop, the true speed reviles at 8Mbps.

Are there any suggestions why?

Go to the Network -> Internet tab and mak sure both the Traffic Shaper boxes are unticked. If they are already unticked then you can ssh to the box and enter the following on the command line:

set net wan uprate unlimited
set net wan downrate unlimited
