the foll command is taking a long time and still executing...
ALTER DATABASE PRIC SET RECOVERY SIMPLE
what could be blocking it?

Answer : recovery model change being blocked

commonzones would have to go first, it processes / matches views in order as far as I'm aware.

Ah well, if you have it working then all is well.
