Question : Opening Attachments in Outlook

We are using Outlook 2003 and for most users, they can open up an attachment by clicking on it within the email attachment line- Word, Excel, doesn't matter.

However on others, they have to save it locally first and then open it becuase it defaults to a Save As instead.  I can't find what the differnce is that would cause this.

Answer : Opening Attachments in Outlook

You can select in during the installation of VB6. I'm afraid you won't find the installer in the internet.

If you are using visual studion 6 installer, you can expand Visual Basic 6, by highlighting the Visual Basic 6.0 in the Options box, and click Change Option. Select Package & Deployment Wizard and click OK. Continue with the installation.

If you have already installed, but find out you missing that feature, just insert the installation CD back and select Add/Remove option during beginning of setup. If it's already checked then, uncheck it and continue with setup until finish. After finish run the setup once more, these time check the Package & Deployment Wizard and continue with setup.

P&D Wizard do not offer much choice, you can try SSE Setup (http://www.ssesetup.com/). It have lot of options too... emm.. do I mention it is free for non-commercial. Trust me, you will love it more than VB 6 P&D.

Enjoy.
