Question : OWA with Forms Based Authentication
I trying to setup OWA to be run internaly only instaed of having to use an Outlook client. I can currently run it by using
http://servername/exchange
/username
.
What I'd like to do is configure forms based authentication which will probable be a little more user friendly. I know with forms based authentication it is required to have SSL configured as well. I'm running the server internaly only so my thought was to create an internal CA to create the certificate. My question is can I run the certificate authority on our Exchange 2003 server for this purpose or do I need to pick another server? Our exchange usage is about 100 users or so.
Answer : OWA with Forms Based Authentication
you can install the CA role on any server, but typically it is not recommended to be on the Exchange server
