Question : 2000 member servers in a domain with Exchange 2010
Backgroud: Currently running a 2000 domain. The Domain controller is a 2000 server running exchange 2003, SQL Server is 2003, Two NAS servers are 2000, and last member server is a 2003 NAS. (DC is 2000, 2 - 2000 member servers, 2 - 2003 member servers)
The Exchange server is slotted to be replaced by an Exchane 2010 server running server 2008 R2.
Question: Once the roles of the domain controller have been moved to a 2003 server, can the 2000 servers be member servers on the same domain as the new Exchange 2010 server running 2008 r2?
Thanks
Answer : 2000 member servers in a domain with Exchange 2010
Yes, if you just want to use it as a member server, it is ok, Becoz you hav separate DC 2003 and exch2010 on 2008R2. so there is no problem
