Question : Exchange 2003 / Outlook 2010 - Out Of Office Not Working via Outlook

I think I know the answer to this already, but looking to see if anyone has managed to make this work.

Customer upgraded their Office to Office 2010 (without talking to us - which is fine) but still has a Small Business 2003 Server and thus most features of Outlook 2010 works, but Out Of Office does not.

Is there anything I can do with the likes of SRV records or is it a case of time to kill the SBS 03 box and upgrade to SBS 08?

I know that it can be set via OWA, but looking to see if there is a solution that does not involve OWA.

There are windows macro recorders that would record you screen steps and you might be able to use this for your program.  Not sure how good they are though
