Question : How do I convert a Tab Separated Format .TXT file into an Excel 2007 CSV file?
I have extracting approximately 1200 records and have been unsuccessful in formatting it so I can read it. Instructions on the website from where I downloaded it are the following:
*Search results will be downloaded as a compressed ZIP archive containing the transactions in TAB SEPARATED format.
After decompressing the file, you can view it in a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excelâ„¢.
When prompted to "Save" or "Open", please press "Save" to download the file to your computer and then open it.
I unzipped the file and then saved it to Excel, but was unable to figure out how to get it to a useful format because I couldn't find any tab separated option and saving it as a CSV file wasn't very helpful.
I feel my unfamiliarity with Excel is turning a relatively simple task into a problem. Am I missing something very basic?
Thanks for your help
Answer : How do I convert a Tab Separated Format .TXT file into an Excel 2007 CSV file?
You either need a Handles BTNCheckPrevious.Command at the end of the sub, or an OnCommand="BTNCheckPreviou
s_Command"
in the HTML. Since this is not a top-level command, I would go with the OnCommand in the HTML.
