I have a friend who has a PC running Vista Home 64 bit. He and his family are not very computer savvy. They can get around the web, but that's about it. The only issue arising is his son who is in 6th grade. He is learning tricks from the other kids in school and is either messing around with the PC on purpose or clicking buttons without knowing what he's doing.
What my friend wants is a way to view his son's IE history. The kid might be clearing out the history or using another browser. He is probably just using IE. Does anyone know of any good tools for viewing internet history? I would like a tool for my friend to run to read the kid's IE history. My buddy won't be able to dig around and check IE history, cache, etc...
I would like something that can definitely read IE 8 history, but also other browsers as well if possible. This might be a stretch, but if the kid deletes history, can his tracks still be followed? Also, can a tool that's easy to use be found? My buddy is really technically challenged. I know of a few older IE tools, but most are beyond his ability to use. One more request, I would like to run this tool from my friend's profile and have it check his son's profile.
