Question : Cannot access Windows 2008 DFS links from Windows 2003

I have created a stand-alone DFS namespace on a Windows 2008 server. In this namespace, I have added several links that point to real shares on that same server. When I access the linked folders via the DFS namespace from a Windows 2003 server, I get the error "The network location cannot be reached". It works fine from the local 2008 machine, or even from a Windows 7 computer. Any suggestions?
Are there any known issues with accessing DFS hosted on Windows 2008 from 2003?
