Question : MS Dynamics 4.0 Outlook Configuration - Microsoft Dynamics CRM server is not available
I installed Microsoft Dynamics CRM Outlook client.
When I am configuring this Outlook client through Configuration wizard I am getting following error
"The specified Microsoft Dynamics CRM server is not available. Make sure that the URL is correct. To test the URL, try opening it in Internet Explorer."
But I am able to access the same URL in web browser.
I've seen a LOT of forum posts on this exact problem and have tried many of the suggested solutions to no avail.
I've added the url and IP to the Intranet security zone. Tools - Internet Options - Security - Local Internet - Sites - Advanced.
I deactivated the IE "Internet Options" under Connections -> LAN settings , the Proxy and "the use automatic configuration script.
I updated my client with all CRM hotfixes and patches.
What should I do to conigure MS CRM Outlook client
