Question : Windows NT4 High Encryption Pack

I am migrating a child company into our domain....and yes in 2010 they are still running NT4. I am migrating the users using the Active Directory Migation Tool 3.0 and would like to migrate their passwords as well. When I try to run the Password Migration Tool on the NT4 server, I get an error message that the High Encryption Pack is required but for the life of me I cannot find any downloads for it. I find plenty of links....but nothing that actually gets me the file itself. If anyone knows of a legitimate location to download that I would appreciate it! I am guessing it is Service Pack 6a?

Answer : Windows NT4 High Encryption Pack

Yes, the High Encryption Pack came with SP6.
Microsoft's support for NT4 has ended several years ago, and the SP6 download has been removed from their site. Google for "sp6i386.exe"; you'll have to judge yourself how reliable the download locations are (http://www.filewatcher.com/m/sp6i386.exe.35720696.0.0.html has a lot of links). The size should be about 34MB.
Every further malware test, installation on a sandboxed test machine, whatever, can in your own best interest only be done by you.
