Question : Burning apps all say no cd in drive

No matter what burning app i attempt to use (nero, roxio, ashampoo, or any other) they all say there is no cd in the drive when I want to burn a cd. There are 2 burners on this pc, one internal and one external usb. Is this an ASPI issue?
