Question : Access idrac card in poweredge

How should I be able to access an idrac card in a dell poweredge server. I thought it should be a matter of giving it an ip and accessing from another machine via http or https but it seems not. I have set the ip and can ping it from the other machine but no http https or telnet access.

The Remote Console (IP KVM) function of the iDrac is only available on the iDrac Enterprise and not on the iDrac express.

However you should be able to bring up the web page by hitting its IP.

If you have the iDrac Enterprise, have you connected a cable to it?
