Question : Unable to deploy a clickonce application on some clients!

Good day,

I have a web application built using a clickonce deployment which is supposed to install a scan station for document management. I am on the client side of the web service within a domain, the server side is being accessed remotely over the internet.

The problem is that I cannot execute the application on most of the computers within the domain, of the 5 tried, only 1 appears to work fine, all the rest generate an exception and the error "Unable to retrieve application files. Files corrupt in deployment."

I have re-installed .net framework (either 2 or 3.5) on each machine but it did not help.
The machines are running windows xp pro.

They all work behind a proxy (ISA 2006 with GFI WebMonitor for ISA).

I have added content types (application, manifest and octet stream) on the GFI webmonitor just in case it was rejecting some MIME type but to no avail too.

I have included the log file it generates as soon as the error is 'tripped'.

Can anybody please help?

Best regards.

Hi,

well as far as I know the maps API will find the closes address to the given location. I guess you would have to do a 2-phase seach.
1. Get the nearest address to the current location (http://code.google.com/intl/de-DE/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/v2/services.html#ReverseGeocoding)
2. use google maps to search for "{zip} airport" and in my case I allways found the airport.
