Question : Deploy RemoteApp MSI using GPO

I am on a Windows 2003 domain and forest functional level. One of the DC is a Windows 2008 machine.

When I try to deploy RemoteApp MSI using via the GPO, I get the following errors on my DC.

Application Log
EventID: 107
"Software Installation was unable to read the MSI file \\xxx.xxx.xxx\Packaged Programs\xxx.msi.  The following error was encountered: SQL query syntax invalid or unsupported."

System Log
EventID:1112
"The Group Policy Client Side Extension Software Installation was unable to apply one or more settings because the changes must be processed before system startup or user logon. The system will wait for Group Policy processing to finish completely before the next startup or logon for this user, and this may result in slow startup and boot performance."

EventID: 108
"Failed to apply changes to software installation settings.  The installation of software deployed through Group Policy for this user has been delayed until the next logon because the changes must be applied before the user logon.  The error was : %%1274"

On the clients
EventID:1058
"The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file \\xxx.xxxx.xxx\SysVol\xxx.xxx.xxx\Policies\{012ECB57-7C72-4333-A001-1F520534472C}\gpt.ini from a domain controller and was not successful. Group Policy settings may not be applied until this event is resolved. This issue may be transient and could be caused by one or more of the following:
a) Name Resolution/Network Connectivity to the current domain controller.
b) File Replication Service Latency (a file created on another domain controller has not replicated to the current domain controller).
c) The Distributed File System (DFS) client has been disabled."

Any help?

Answer : Deploy RemoteApp MSI using GPO

I think you need to concentrate on the network issues with your domain, rather than the installation package. Run dcdiag, and maybe use MSKB 249256 .
