Question : Exchange 2010 DAG witness directory
hi
i have created a dag of 3 mailbox server nodes, the witness directory and server are on a exchange 2010 hub transport server. Per database i have enabled 1 active and 1 passive copy.
now when i logged in to the witness server and checked the witness directory there are no files or folders available inside. is it normal or something is wrong? how do i test or check if my dag configuration is correct?
thanks
Answer : Exchange 2010 DAG witness directory
File share witness is only needed when you have an even number of members in the DAG, odd numbered nodes do not use a witness server.
