Question : Can't Telnet into my linux Server all of a sudden through my Sonicwall

I have a Sonicwall SOHO 3 on an small office network. I've been able to telnet into an internal server on the network. I have a network access rule for telnet that goes to the local ip address. Therefore when I telnet in using the static WAN ip of the sonicwall and the port 23, I used to be able to get in to the Linux server. All of a sudden the connection is not happening. The server is on. I can get to it from inside the network. The access rule is set by service and still goes to the ip address that is the same as it's always been.

Any idea where I can check to see why I can't get in anymore?

Answer : Can't Telnet into my linux Server all of a sudden through my Sonicwall

you could ask the ISP, or say who it is and others may know. Telnet is pretty insecure and ssh would be regarded as better practice - have you tried that instead ?

If the sonicwall log doesn't show the incoming connection you know better where to look for the problem.
