Question : SUP7203B PFC incompatibility

I have a customer with a  SUP720-3b that works fine on its own, but when another SUP720-3b is inserted into the chassis we get the following feedback...

I looked up the message on Cisco.com and it said
"This message indicates that the active supervisor engine and the redundant supervisor engine have different versions of the PFC daughter card"

Here is a capture of the other SUP720 that shows it also has a PFC3B...

Does anyone know why we get these errors? Is there an easy resolution without having to swap out hardware?  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Answer : SUP7203B PFC incompatibility

One of your PFC is EARL7-XL-LITE and Other is PFC EARL7-XL. For failover to work, they need to exactly match. It is not a software version issue. I am afraid you need to replace hardware.
