Question : Sharepoint takes forever to load on first access of the day... How do I fix this?

Currently running MOSS 2007 Enterprise, the first time we access thru web ui, after long periods of idle time, it takes FOREVER to load. What could we do to remedy this? Thank you!

try the following:

Go to IIS Manager
Open the Application Pools
Right click on the DefaultAppPool and go to properties
Go to the Performance Tab
Uncheck the top box - shutdown worker processes after being idle.
