Question : Importing a Word document To Fox Pro Tables

I have to take many word documents and import them into a FoxPro table.  See attached file. Two fields are required- error code and description of the error.  Of course the State of California does not have this ready made in an excel file for me.--I asked

What I can do is copy and paste from word to excel than export excel to fox pro table a number of ways. The cut and past works o.k. I  just have to clean the excel sheet up a bit before exporting it to Fox Pro.  

Any one know of a more direct method? I have many word Docs and thousands of these line items that I need to send to my Fox Pro application. Fortunately this only has to be done once!!

You may try to save the Word document into a text file and parse it in VFP... You may also try to process the Word doc in some specialised processor like the Lua lpeg... Everything this means some programming and new tools learning.

So, the fastest way seems to be the pasting to Excel sheet and processing the XLS...
